【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=디케어센터의원(이하 디케어센터)이 대구시와 취약계층 의료복지 지원을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 18일 밝혔다.

지난 디케어센터 세미나실에서 진행된 이번 협약은 지역사회 기여를 위해 디케어센터가 대구시에 제안하여 체결되었다.

협약식에서는 김종한 대구시 행정부시장과 정경화 디케어센터 대표원장, 실무진들이 참석해 2023년부터 매년 저소득 취약계층 100명에게 1인당 40만 원 상당의 종합건강검진 서비스를 무료로 제공하는 것을 약속했다.

김종한 대구시 행정부시장은 “지역사회의 소외된 계층을 위해 따뜻한 나눔을 약속해주신 디케어센터의원에 감사드린다”라며 “취약계층 건강증진과 의료복지 향상에 큰 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다”고 말했다. 

정경화 디케어센터의원 대표원장은 “평소 어려운 사정으로 종합건강검진을 받지 못하셨던 분들께 도움이 되었으면 한다”라며 “편안하게 검사받으실 수 있도록 의료진과 직원 모두 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
