【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=강사빈 대구 중·남구 국민의힘 예비후보가 지역의 청년들을 만나 다양한 현안을 논의하는 ‘지방청년 동행 토크콘서트’를 개최했다고 31일 밝혔다.
대구 중구 소재 한 청년 모임공간에서 진행된 이날 행사에는 남구 소재의 대학을 졸업한 박성경 국무총리 소속 청년정책조정위원회 위원을 비롯한 지역 청년 50여 명이 참석했다.
강사빈 예비후보는 “단순히 청년위원회를 만들고 청년을 동원하는 것이 아닌 같은 입장에서 직접 목소리를 들어보고자 자리를 마련했다”면서 “이제는 국민과의 소통을 최우선시하며 각 지역의 문제점과 국가 차원의 아젠다를 명쾌하게 꿰뚫고 모든 세대의 목소리를 균형 있게 반영하는 정치를 지향해야 한다”고 말했다.

이에 대해 강 예비후보는 ‘수도권과 지방 청년의 격차’를 지방 청년 문제의 제1원인으로 꼽으며 “지방은 청년인구 유출로 인해 고령화의 수위가 높아지고, 생산가능 인구 감소로 인한 경제침체 및 지역 발전 저하 위기에 놓이지만, 수도권은 인구 과밀화 문제가 심각한 상황”이라며 “수도권과 지방 청년이 공정한 기회를 누릴 수 있도록 ‘지방청년청’ 신설을 약속한다”고 말했다.
또한 그는 “이제는 청년들의 니즈를 명쾌하게 분석하고 직접 소통할 수 있는 사람이 나설 때”라며 “어떠한 역경에도 굴하지 않고, 무거운 사명감을 가지고 끝없이 정진하겠다”고 밝혔다.
