이날 열린 제1차 본회의에서는 2025회계연도 결산검사위원 선임의 건을 포함한 총 5건의 의안을 의결했다. 결산검사위원에는 김상호 의원이 대표위원으로 선임됐으며, 권혁희 세무사와 이종규 전 문화관광복지국장이 위원으로 함께 참여한다.

이번 임시회는 23일과 24일 이틀간 상임위원회 활동을 진행한 뒤, 27일 제2차 본회의를 열어 조례안 및 기타 안건을 최종 의결하고 폐회할 예정이다. 상임위원회에서는 「영천시의회 지방공무원 복무 조례 일부개정조례안」을 비롯한 총 23건의 주요 안건이 심도 있게 다뤄질 전망이다.
