또한 최근 발생한 대달산업 공장 화재와 관련해 우애자 의원은 “기업 회복 지원뿐만 아니라 인근 소상공인과 농민들의 피해도 크다”며, 소상공인 보상과 농업용수 공급 대책을 병행할 것을 주문했다.

주차장 조례 일부 개정안 논의에서는 공영주차장의 효율적 활용과 함께, 시민 수요에 맞는 주차장 조성이 필요하다는 지적이 나왔다. 김종욱 의원과 배수예 의원은 “주먹구구식 조성이 아니라 시민 의견을 반영해 꼭 필요한 곳에 주차장을 만들어야 한다”고 강조했다.
