【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구도시개발공사가 지역 학교 밖 청소년들의 진로 탐색과 자립 역량 강화를 위한 기업탐방 프로그램을 운영했다.
공사는 지난 4월 8일 본사 사옥에서 기업탐방을 실시했으며, 이번 행사는 대구시학교밖청소년지원센터가 추진하는 ‘2026년 대구광역시 학교 밖 청소년 직업역량강화 프로그램 2단계’ 사업의 일환으로 마련됐다. 상대적으로 진로 탐색 기회가 부족한 학교 밖 청소년들에게 실질적인 직무 정보와 진로 설계 기회를 제공하는 데 목적이 있다.
이날 행사에는 대구시 및 구·군 학교밖청소년지원센터 소속 청소년과 실무자 등 40여 명이 참여했다. 공사는 주요 사업 소개를 비롯해 직무 내용, 청년 체험형 인턴 채용 절차, 청년 공급주택 정책 등을 안내하고 질의응답을 통해 청소년들의 이해를 도왔다.
또한 프리하라 손유은 대표를 초빙해 보드게임을 활용한 전세사기 예방 교육을 진행했다. 체험형 방식으로 구성된 교육은 부동산 기초 지식과 위험 예방 방법을 쉽게 전달해 참여자들의 높은 호응을 얻었다.
정명섭 대구도시개발공사 사장은 “이번 기업탐방이 학교 밖 청소년들이 진로를 구체화하고 자신감을 키우는 계기가 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 지역 청소년들이 건강한 사회 구성원으로 성장할 수 있도록 실질적인 지원 프로그램을 지속 확대해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Daegu Urban Development Corporation operated a corporate visit program to help local out-of-school youth explore career paths and strengthen their capacity for self-reliance.
The Corporation conducted the corporate visit at its headquarters on April 8. This event was organized as part of the "2026 Daegu Metropolitan City Out-of-School Youth Vocational Competency Enhancement Program Phase 2," promoted by the Daegu City Out-of-School Youth Support Center. The program aims to provide practical job information and career planning opportunities to out-of-school youth, who have relatively limited opportunities for career exploration.
Approximately 40 people participated in the event, including youth and staff members affiliated with Daegu City and district/county Out-of-School Youth Support Centers. The Corporation provided information on key projects, job duties, the recruitment process for youth experiential interns, and youth housing policies, and facilitated the youths' understanding through a Q&A session.
In addition, CEO Son Yu-eun of Freehara was invited to conduct an educational session on preventing Jeonse (lease deposit) fraud using board games. The hands-on training program received a positive response from participants by effectively conveying basic real estate knowledge and risk prevention methods.
