이날 준공식에는 대구도시개발공사를 비롯해 대구시 에너지산업과, 한국에너지공단 대구·경북본부, 대구지속가능발전협의회, 시민햇빛발전협동조합 관계자 등 20여 명이 참석해 지역형 재생에너지 확산의 첫 발을 내디뎠다.

이번 발전소는 대구도시개발공사가 한국에너지공단과 시민협동조합이 협력해 구축한 첫 번째 태양광 발전소로, 공사는 지난 5월 한국에너지공단 대구·경북본부, (사)누구나햇빛발전, 달구벌시민햇빛발전협동조합과 업무협약을 체결하며 본격적인 사업에 착수했다.

‘공유햇빛발전소 1호기’는 공사가 운영 중인 통합공공임대주택 단지 ‘인동촌 청아람 더 영’ 옥상에 설치됐으며, 총 31.36kW 규모로 연간 약 1.3GWh의 전력 생산이 가능하다. 이를 통해 온실가스 17.5톤 감축이 기대되며, 지역 내 탄소중립 실현에도 기여할 전망이다.

발전소에서 생산된 전력의 판매 수익금은 조합원 배당(약 4.5%)과 입주민 관리비 절감에 사용된다. 공사 측은 이를 통해 입주민 세대당 월 8,000원 이상의 관리비 절감 효과를 기대하고 있다.

Daegu Urban Development Corporation Completes Construction of 'Daegu-Type Shared Solar Power Plant Unit 1'

With a total capacity of 31.36 kW, it can produce approximately 1.3 GWh of electricity annually. This is expected to reduce greenhouse gases by 17.5 tons and contribute to the region's carbon neutrality.

Proceeds from the sale of electricity generated by the plant will be used to distribute dividends to cooperative members (approximately 4.5%) and reduce resident management fees. The Corporation expects this to result in a monthly savings of over 8,000 won per household.

Starting with the first plant, the Daegu Urban Development Corporation plans to complete the construction of two to three additional plants within the year and expand the use of renewable energy in collaboration with private companies, local governments, and public institutions.
