【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구도시개발공사(사장 정명섭)는 지난 2일 보건복지부와 한국사회복지협의회가 주관하는 ‘2025년 지역사회공헌 인정제’에서 A+ 등급을 획득하고 보건복지부 장관상을 수상했다고 밝혔다.

‘지역사회공헌 인정제’는 기관이 보유한 자원을 바탕으로 비영리단체와의 협력을 통해 지역사회 문제 해결 및 사회적 가치 확산에 기여한 공로를 평가하는 제도로, ESG 경영 관점에서 환경(E)·사회(S)·지배구조(G) 부문의 사회공헌 활동 전반을 종합적으로 심사한다.

대구도시개발공사는 기관 고유사업과 연계한 지속적인 사회공헌 활동을 이어온 점을 높이 평가받았다. 특히 대표 사회공헌 프로그램인 ‘Happy Plus! Hope Plus!’를 통해 2022년부터 복지 사각지대의 주거빈곤 아동을 대상으로 주거환경 개선사업을 꾸준히 추진해오고 있다.

또한 저소득 가정 아동, 자립준비 및 가족돌봄 청년, 어르신 등 취약계층 맞춤형 지원과 더불어 안동·군위 등 자매결연 지역과의 도농 상생 협력, 재해지역 복구 지원 등 지역 공동체 강화를 위한 활동도 활발히 펼치고 있다.
