이번 사업은 저출산 문제 해결과 저소득 가정의 양육 부담 완화를 위해 추진됐으며, 공사는 총 600만 원을 후원했다. 이날 봉사활동에는 공사 임직원과 청년 체험형 인턴 직원 16명이 참여해 직접 키트를 포장하며 ESG 경영과 나눔 실천에 동참했다.

키트는 체온계, 치발기 세트, 이유식 식판 등 신생아 양육에 필요한 물품으로 구성됐으며, 출산을 앞두거나 영아를 양육 중인 저소득 가정 24세대에 전달될 예정이다.

정명섭 대구도시개발공사 사장은 “임직원과 인턴이 함께 준비한 키트가 출산 가정에 작은 보탬이 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 저출산 극복을 위해 다양한 사회공헌 활동을 이어가겠다”고 말했다.
