【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구도시개발공사는 1월 20일 오전 11시 20분 본사 회의실에서 정명섭 사장 주재로 ‘청렴·안전 결의식’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 새해를 맞아 주요 사업장의 청렴과 안전 실태를 점검하고, 현장 책임자들과 직접 소통하며 실질적인 개선 대책을 마련하기 위해 추진됐다. 단순한 형식적 행사에서 벗어나 최고경영자(CEO)가 현장의 목소리를 직접 듣고 안전·청렴 강화를 위한 구체적인 지시를 내리는 데 중점을 뒀다.
이날 결의식에는 정명섭 사장을 비롯한 경영진과 공사가 추진 중인 5개 주요 공사 현장의 책임건설사업관리기술인, 현장대리인 등 총 15명이 참석했다.
정명섭 사장은 “최근 타 지역에서 발생한 사고 사례를 타산지석으로 삼아 단 1%의 위험도 용납해서는 안 된다”고 강조하며, △강풍·화재 등 동절기 재난 상황에 대한 철저한 대비 △한랭질환 예방을 위한 근로자 안전교육 강화 △실효성 있는 현장 안전 활동 추진 등을 강도 높게 주문했다.
이와 함께 공공부문의 신뢰 회복을 위한 고강도 청렴 대책도 논의됐다. 정 사장은 현장 내 갑질과 불공정 관행을 “조직의 존립을 위협하는 행위”로 규정하고, 상호 존중을 바탕으로 한 투명하고 공정한 건설문화 정착을 당부했다.
참석자 전원은 ‘부패 Zero, 재해 Zero’ 실현을 목표로 반부패·청렴 및 안전 서약서에 서명하며, 안전하고 공정한 일터 조성을 위해 전사적인 노력을 기울일 것을 다짐했다.
정명섭 사장은 마무리 발언을 통해 “청렴과 안전은 CEO부터 현장 실무자까지 전 임직원이 한마음으로 지켜야 할 최우선 과제”라며 “앞으로도 현장 중심의 소통을 통해 시민들이 믿고 안심할 수 있는 공공기관이 되도록 모든 역량을 집중하겠다”고 밝혔다.
