공사는 지난 11월 26일 달서구 상인비둘기아파트에서 입주민과 관리사무소 직원 등이 참여한 가운데 ‘행복안전 화재예방 캠페인’을 진행했다고 1일 밝혔다.

이번 캠페인은 난방기기 사용이 증가하는 계절적 특성과 노후 임대주택 특성상 화재 발생 시 피해가 확대될 가능성이 큰 취약계층 세대를 보호하기 위한 선제적 대응 차원에서 마련됐다.

공사는 달서소방서와 협력해 △화재 예방 수칙 △비상 대피 요령 △초기 화재 대응법 등을 안내하는 안전 교육을 진행했으며, 화재 예방에 취약한 1인 가구를 직접 방문해 안전 물품을 전달했다.

배포된 물품에는 화재예방 안내 리플렛, 대피용 소방포, 신규 안전 멀티탭, 콘센트 화재 소화패치 등 초기 대응과 신속한 대피에 필요한 필수품이 포함돼 있어 실효성이 높을 것으로 기대된다.

정명섭 사장은 “입주민들이 더욱 안전하고 따뜻한 겨울을 보내는 데 조금이나마 도움이 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 취약계층의 주거 안전을 위한 예방 활동을 지속 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

대구도시개발공사는 앞으로도 지역 내 재난 취약계층을 대상으로 계절별 안전 캠페인과 주택 안전점검을 이어가며, 공공주택의 안전 환경 조성에 적극 나설 계획이다.
