특히 이번 행사에는 계명대학교 생태조경학과가 참여해 전문성을 더했다. 공사는 사전 자문을 통해 단지 토양과 생태 환경에 적합한 식재를 선정했으며, 이를 반영한 맞춤형 조경을 통해 단순한 미관 개선을 넘어 지속 가능한 생태 환경을 조성했다는 평가다.

정명섭 사장은 “지역 대학과의 협력을 통해 입주민들에게 보다 전문적이고 아름다운 휴식 공간을 제공할 수 있게 되어 뜻깊다”며 “앞으로도 주거 취약계층의 삶의 질 향상과 지역사회 상생을 위한 다양한 주거복지 사업을 지속적으로 추진하겠다”고 말했다.
