【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구보건대학교(총장 남성희)는 최근 고용노동부가 주관하는 '2020 일자리창출 유공 정부포상'에서 국무총리표창(일자리창출 지원 분야)을 수상해 6일 본관 10층 회의실에서 남성희 총장, 대구지방고용노동청 지역협력과 오영근 과장 등이 참석한 가운데 표창 전수식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 일자리창출 지원 분야에서 단체 수상은 모두 51개 기관이며 대부분 일반기업이다. 이 중 전국 3개 대학만이 수상자로 이름을 올렸으며 전문대학에서는 대구보건대학교가 유일하다.

대구보건대학교는 최근 3년 동안 평균 74%의 높은 취업률과 함께 미국, 캐나다, 독일 등 선진국에 100명이 넘게 취업하는 등 청년취업률 제고에 기여했다. 지난해 대학 내 여성근로자의 비율이 49.7%이며 여학생 취업률이 77%로 나타나는 등 취업 약자인 여성에게 많은 일자리를 제공한 것도 높은 점수를 받았다.

이 대학교는 또, 대학 산학협력단 26명, 학교법인 기업 291명 등 많은 전담 인력을 채용했으며 강소기업체험사업 전국1위(2014, 2015년)를 차지했고 최근 2년간 취업성공패키지 프로그램참여로 359명이 취업 하는 등 고용노동부 사업에도 적극 참여했다. 교육부의 지원을 받아 전문대학혁신지원사업, LINC+사업을 운영하면서 3년 동안 11,000명의 학생들이 취ㆍ창업프로그램에 참여했다. 이밖에 집중휴가제를 비롯한 노동시간 단축, 자기개발비와 해외연수 지원, 직원연수원과 헬스센터 운영 등으로 일ㆍ생활 균형 실천과 노동환경을 개선하며 일자리 질 향상에 앞장서왔다.

대구보건대학교 남성희 총장은 “이번 수상을 계기로 더 좋은 일자리를 만드는데 노력하고 취업약자에 대한 배려, 지역사회에 대한 봉사에 매진 하겠다” 며, “고용노동부, 지자체, 중소벤처기업부 등과 협력하여 청년 취업률 향상에 기여하고 지역사회에 선도적 역할을 다 하겠다”고 덧붙였다.

Last year, the percentage of female workers in college was 49.7% and the female employment rate was 77%.

The university also employs a number of dedicated personnel, including 26 university-industrial cooperation groups and 291 school corporations, and ranked first in the nationwide strong and small enterprise experience business (2014, 2015), and 359 employees participated in the employment success package program over the past two years. He also actively participated in the Ministry of Employment and Labor projects such as getting a job.
