보건계열은 국가면허 기반 직무 구조로 인해 취업 안정성이 높은 분야로 꼽힌다. 졸업 이후 장기적인 취업 준비가 필요한 일반 직무와 달리, 국가시험 합격 여부가 곧바로 취업 가능성을 결정하는 구조가 뚜렷하다. 이 때문에 국가고시 성과는 대학의 교육 역량과 취업 경쟁력을 가늠하는 핵심 지표로 작용한다.
