이날 협약식에는 남성희 총장과 류한국 서구청장을 비롯한 양 기관 관계자 10여 명이 참석했다. 이번 협약은 오는 27일 시행되는 「의료·요양 등 지역돌봄의 통합지원에 관한 법률」에 선제적으로 대응하고, 통합돌봄 대상자의 주거환경 개선과 지역사회 돌봄 안전망 강화를 위해 마련됐다.

사업의 핵심은 단순 보수 중심의 집수리를 넘어 ‘공간 재구조화’에 있다. 기존의 손잡이 설치나 낙상 예방 중심의 제한적 지원에서 벗어나, 거주자의 신체적 특성과 생활 패턴을 반영한 작업치료 기반의 주거환경 개선 방식을 도입한다. 올해는 서구 지역 내 통합돌봄 대상자 20가구를 선정해 맞춤형 개선을 추진할 계획이다.

대구보건대학교는 글로컬대학30 프로젝트와 RISE 사업을 연계해 전문성을 강화한다. 작업치료학과 교수진과 학생들이 대상자의 신체 기능, 생활 동선, 주거 공간 내 위험 요소를 종합적으로 분석해 개선안을 설계하고, 대구주거복지협동조합이 시공과 안전 점검을 담당한다. 이후 학생들은 설치물 사용법과 안전한 생활 동선에 대한 사후 교육까지 지원할 예정이다.

남성희 총장은 “통합돌봄은 단순한 복지 서비스를 넘어 대상자가 익숙한 주거 환경에서 안전하게 생활할 수 있도록 지원하는 중요한 사회적 과제”라며 “작업치료학과의 전문성을 기반으로 기능과 생활환경을 함께 고려한 맞춤형 주거환경 개선을 통해 지역 통합돌봄의 실효성을 높이겠다”고 밝혔다.

This year, the plan is to select 20 households in the Seo-gu district eligible for integrated care and implement customized improvements.

Daegu Health University is strengthening its expertise by linking the Glocal University 30 Project with the RISE project. Faculty and students from the Department of Occupational Therapy will design improvement plans by comprehensively analyzing the recipients' physical functions, daily movement patterns, and risk factors within their living spaces, while the Daegu Housing Welfare Cooperative will be responsible for construction and safety inspections. Subsequently, students plan to provide follow-up education on the proper use of installed fixtures and safe daily movement patterns.

President Nam Seong-hee stated, "Integrated care is an important social task that goes beyond simple welfare services to support recipients in living safely in a familiar residential environment." She added, "Based on the expertise of the Department of Occupational Therapy, we will enhance the effectiveness of regional integrated care through customized residential environment improvements that consider both function and living conditions."
