【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구보건대학교(총장 남성희)는 10일 서울 더플라자호텔에서 ‘한달빛글로컬보건연합대학 온·오프라인 기반 성과공유회’를 열고 글로컬대학30 프로젝트 2차년도 추진 성과를 공유했다.

이날 행사에는 남성희 총장을 비롯해 김경태 한달빛글로컬보건연합대학 이사장(광주보건대 총장), 이정화 대전보건대학교 총장 등 연합대학 관계자와 지자체 대학 담당자, 교직원 등 150여 명이 참석했다. 행사는 온라인으로도 동시 생중계됐다.

행사는 분당서울대학교병원 김세중 경영혁신실장의 기조강연으로 시작됐다. 김 실장은 ‘미래 병원의 핵심 동력, AI와 의료의 융합’을 주제로 의료 현장에서의 인공지능 활용과 병원 경영 혁신 방향을 제시했다. 이어 각 대학 글로컬사업단장들이 캠퍼스별 특화 성과를 발표했다.

대구보건대학교는 이전형 글로컬사업단장이 발표자로 나서 ‘대구보건특화캠퍼스 통합성과’를 주제로 혁신 사례를 소개했다. 기존 학과 중심 체제를 헬스케어, 헬스테크, 재활치료, 보건융합 등 4개 스쿨 체제로 개편한 ‘스쿨제 도입’ 과정과, 3개 대학이 공동 개발해 운영 중인 ‘다직종 연계 교육(IPE, Interprofessional Education)’ 사례를 공유하며 현장 중심 교육 혁신 모델을 제시했다.

연합대학은 지난 1년간 대학 간 장벽을 허무는 단일 학사 체계를 정착시키고, 캠퍼스 경계를 넘어 융복합 교육을 이수할 수 있는 ‘현장 미러형 러닝센터’와 ‘가상학과’를 운영해 왔다. 이러한 ‘따로 또 같이’ 협력 모델은 학령인구 감소 상황에서 지역 정주형 전문 인재 양성의 실질적 대안으로 평가받고 있다.

참석자들은 2차 연도 사업에서도 경계 없는 교육 생태계 구축과 협력 모델 고도화에 역량을 집중하기로 뜻을 모았다.

남성희 총장은 “연합대학은 연차평가 A등급과 WURI 랭킹 진입이라는 성과로 혁신의 방향성을 입증했다”며 “앞으로 애리조나 주립대학(ASU)과의 협업 등 글로벌 연계를 강화해 지역과 대학이 상생하는 글로컬 모델을 완성해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

 Daegu Health College Holds "Handalbit Glocal Health Alliance University" Results Sharing Session

Daegu Health College (President Nam Sung-hee) held an "Handalbit Glocal Health Alliance University Online and Offline Results Sharing Session" at The Plaza Hotel in Seoul on the 10th to share the achievements of the second year of the Glocal University 30 Project.

The event was attended by approximately 150 people, including President Nam Sung-hee, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Handalbit Glocal Health Alliance University (President of Gwangju Health College), President Lee Jung-hwa of Daejeon Health College, officials from local governments, and faculty. The event was also live-streamed online.

The event began with a keynote speech by Kim Se-jung, Director of the Management Innovation Office at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital. Under the theme, "The Core Driving Force of Future Hospitals: Convergence of AI and Healthcare," Kim presented the direction for AI utilization in healthcare and hospital management innovation. Following this, the heads of the Glocal Business Units at each university presented their respective campus-specific achievements.

Daegu Health College presented innovative cases under the theme of "Integrated Results of the Daegu Health Specialized Campus," presented by Jeonhyeong Lee, Director of the Glocal Business Division. He shared the "School System Introduction" process, which reorganized the existing department-centered system into four schools: Healthcare, Health Technology, Rehabilitation Therapy, and Health Convergence, and the "Interprofessional Education (IPE)" jointly developed and operated by three universities, presenting a field-centered educational innovation model.

Over the past year, the joint university has established a unified bachelor's degree program that breaks down barriers between universities and operates "on-site mirror learning centers" and "virtual departments" that enable students to pursue interdisciplinary education beyond campus boundaries. This "separate yet together" collaborative model is recognized as a practical alternative for fostering local, professional talent amidst the declining school-age population.

Attendees agreed to continue focusing their efforts in the second year of the project on building a borderless educational ecosystem and enhancing the collaborative model.

President Nam Seong-hee stated, “The Union University has proven its direction for innovation by achieving an A grade in the annual evaluation and entering the WURI rankings,” and added, “We will strengthen global connections, such as collaboration with Arizona State University (ASU), to complete a glocal model where regions and universities coexist.”
