이날 윤 후보는 동대구역 광장에서 시민들을 만난 가운데 “무능하고 부패한 민주당 정권은 지난 2년간 코로나 방역에도 실패하고 백신도 제때 들여오지 못하고 치료도 제대로 하지 못했다.”면서 아울러 “2년 전 대구에서 코로나가 시작될 때 민주당 정권은 대구 봉쇄, 대구 손절을 떠들지 않았나, 누가 일을 했나?”며 목소리를 높였다.
