제20대 대통령 선거가 이틀 앞으로 다가온 7일 나경원 원내 전 대표가 대구 칠성시장을 찾아 윤석열 대선 후보 지지 유세에 나섰다.

이날 칠성시장에서 열린 유세에서 나경원 전 대표는 선관위의 코로나19 확진자·격리자 사전투표 부실 관리 논란과 관련해 "억장이 무너진다. 이게 21세기 대한민국의 모습이 맞는지 모르겠다."며 "하지만 이럴수록 더 많은 분들이 투표를 해야한다고 생각한다. 여론조사는 앞서고있다는 결과가 많이 나오고 있지만 결국에 여론조사와 투표는 다르다. 대구에서 투표율 80%,득표율 80% 만들어달라"며 투표를 독려했다.
