김장호 구미시장 예비후보가 25일 선거사무소 개소식을 열고 본격적인 선거활동을 시작했다.

홍석준 의원은 “박정희 대통령 생가가 있는 구미가 반드시 우리 국민의힘 후보로 정권이 바뀌어야 된다”며 “구미시청에서 출발해 경상북도청, 행정안전부, 청와대 등 다양한 공직 경험을 통해서 경제 예산 분야에서 많은 경험과 출중한 실적을 쌓은 김장호 후보를 앞으로 남은 기간 동안 아낌없는 보살핌을 부탁드린다”고 말했다.
