【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=홍준표 국민의힘 대구시장 후보가 6·1 지방선거 공식 선거운동 첫날인 반월당에서 선거운동을 시작했다.
19일 오후 4시 반월당에서 출정식을 가진 홍준표 후보는 수성을 국회의원에 출마한 이인선 후보를 비롯해 구청장 후보들과 시의원, 구의원 후보자들과 함께해 지지를 호소했다.
이날 홍준표 후보는 “과거 서울, 평양 다음가는 대한민국 3대 도시 대구의 위상을 살리고 청년이 떠나지 않는 대구를 만들기 위해 시장에 출마했다”며 목소리를 높였다.
그는 “28년 동안 GRDP 꼴찌 도시, 전국 대도시 중에서 가장 가난한 도시, 희망을 잃어버린 도시 대구를 대전환하기 위해 하늘 길을 열어야 하며, 그 모든 출발점은 대구통합신공항”이라고 강조하며 대구 미래 50년의 토대가 될 7대 비전을 설명하고 “자유와 활력이 넘치는 파워풀 대구를 만들어 다시 대구의 영광을 이루자”고 호소했다.
이날 출정식에는 지지자와 시민들 1천여명이 참석했으며, 강대식, 김상훈, 김용판, 윤재옥, 임병헌, 홍석준 국회의원과 박순자, 이언주 전 국회의원이 지지 연설을 했다.
출정식은 ‘TV홍카콜라’와 개인 유투버들이 현장에서 생중계를 했고, 기자들의 취재열기로 뜨거운 분위기를 연출했다.
공식 선거운동 둘째 날인 20일에는 저녁 7시 수성못 상화동산에서 ‘제1차 정치버스킹-만민공동회’를 시작한다.
