【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구보건대학교(총장 남성희) 외국인학생들이 2022 박물관 길위의 인문학 ‘식(食)식(食)한 생활’ 프로그램에 참가해 한국 문화를 접하는 시간을 가졌다.

대구보건대 보현박물관은 지난달 27일부터 29일까지 교내 문화관에서 2022 박물관 길 위의 인문학 ‘식(食)식(食)한 생활’ 프로그램을 진행한 가운데 중국, 러시아, 몽골, 스리랑카, 베트남, 필리핀, 카자흐스탄, 인도 등 다양한 국적의 학생 50여명이 참가해 체험에 나섰다고 11일 밝혔다.

외국인 학생들은 프로그램을 통해 3일간 한국의 전통 문화에 관한 이야기와 전통부엌 및 소반 만들기  등 색다른 문화에 심취할 수 있는 기회를 가졌다.

프로그램은 한국 전통가옥 속 부엌이 갖는 역할과 의미, 옛 전통부엌에 담긴 문화를 이해하기 위해 전통부엌 미니어처 만들어보는 ‘식(食)나는 공간, 부엌’, 과거와 현대의 밥상문화를 비교하며 소반의 쓰임새와 특징을 이해하고 유물에 담긴 의미와 가치를 탐구하는 ‘식(食)이 좋은 가구, 소반’, 한지공예를 이용한 소반 만들기 등으로 다양하게 구성되어 학생들에게 호응을 얻었다

석은조 보현박물관 관장은 "보현박물관의 소반 특별전과 연계한 ‘박물관 길 위의 인문학’ 사업을 통해 외국인 학생들이 한국문화에 대한 이해도를 높이고, 문화적 차이를 극복할 수 있는 계기를 마련했다"고 말했다.
