중소기업 기술사관 주관대학은 중소벤처기업부가 반도체 산업 분야 중소기업 전문인력 양성 및 공급을 확대하기 위해 직업계고 2년, 전문대학 2년 등 4년간의 연계교육을 실시하는 사업으로 반도체 중기(中企) 양성 ‘기술사관’ 주관대학으로는 영진전문대와 동의과학대 등 2개 대학이 선정됐다.

이번 사업에 선정된 기술사관 주관대학은 2023년부터 중기부에서 연간 약 3억2000만 원을, 5년간 총 사업비 16억 원을 국고를 지원받게 되며 학생들에게 ▶기술사관 전용 이론‧기술 교육 ▶산업기사 자격증 취득 ▶산업기능요원 추천 우대 ▶ 중소기업 취업 연계 등의 사업을 전개한다.

이에 따라 영진전문대학교 컴퓨터정보계열은 ‘반도체소프트웨어 기술사관 사업단’을 발족, 2023년 3월에 이 사업 참여 직업계고인 대구제일여자상고, 경북공고 2학년생 총 30명을 선발하여 산업체 수요 맞춤형 교육과정을 운영할 예정이라고 밝혔다.

교육은 ‘반도체 시스템 관리자 트랙’, ‘반도체 시스템 SW개발자 트랙’등 2개 과정이며, 고교-대학 교과목 연계에 의한 대학과목선이수(AP) 체계를 마련할 계획이다.

이로써 영진전문대는 K-반도체 분야 메인터넌스 직군 전문인재 배출에 더해 소프트웨어 분야까지 아우르는 반도체 인재 풀 교육 시스템을 가동할 수 있게 됐다.
