【브레이크뉴스 대구】박은정 기자=  대구시는 금호강 르네상스의 핵심사업인 하수관로 우·오수분류화사업과 관련, 민간투자사업으로 추진 중인 달서천 1단계사업(서구청 인근)에 대한 국회 민자사업 한도액(910억원, 국비 273억원)을 최종 승인받았다고 26일 밝혔다.

우·오수 분류화사업은 많은 재정이 소요됨에 따라 시는 재정과 민간투자사업(BTL) 구간으로 분리, 도심지역인 신천유역은 재정사업으로 1조 3,000억원을 투입해 추진한다.

최근 개발이 활발히 진행되고 있는 서대구역세권 주변지역은 민간투자사업으로 사업비 5,000억원(단계별 1,000억원×5단계)으로 추진할 예정이다.

내년부터 시설사업기본계획 및 전략환경영향평가 용역을 수행하고, 민간투자사업 심의 및 대시의회 동의를 구한 후 시설사업기본계획을 고시해 사업시행자를 선정하는 등 2024년까지 행정절차를 완료하고 2025년부터 3년간 공사를 시행할 예정이다.

또 2~5단계사업(달성공원~대명동 계명대, 3공단 주변)에 대한 행정절차 역시 내년부터 단계별 추진할 방침이다.

내년 신천유역은 오수간선관로 신천처리장~동신교구간에 대한 공사가 착공되고 올해부터 추진 중인 동신교~가창 냉천교 및 범어천 구간의 설계가 계속 진행될 예정이다.

지선관로는 신암동 공고네거리 주변의 공사를 착공하는 등 신천 하류에서 상류구간까지 순차적으로 추진할 예정이다.

사업이 완료되면 하천 내 오수유입이 원천적으로 차단돼 하수악취 문제해결과 하천수질의 개선이 기대된다.

특히 시민들에게 쾌적한 환경제공으로 신천수변공원화사업과 금호강르네상스사업 성공의 기반을 마련할 것으로 보고 있다. 

지형재 대구시 환경수자원국장은 “이번 하수관로 민간투자사업에 대한 국회 민자사업 한도액 승인으로 신천수변공원화, 금호강르네상스사업의 근간인 우·오수분류화사업의 본격적인 추진을 위한 토대가 마련됐으며, 앞으로 사업추진에 차질이 발생하지 않도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

In the Sincheon basin next year, the construction of the Sincheon treatment plant and Dongsin Bridge section of the sewage main line will begin, and the design of the Dongsin Bridge and Gachang Naengcheon Bridge and Beomeo Stream section, which is being promoted from this year, will continue.

The branch line will be promoted sequentially from the lower part of Sincheon to the upper part, including starting construction around the Gonggo Intersection in Sinam-dong.

When the project is completed, the inflow of sewage into the river is fundamentally blocked, so it is expected to solve the sewage odor problem and improve the river water quality.

In particular, by providing a pleasant environment to citizens, it is expected to lay the foundation for the success of the Shincheon Waterside Park Project and the Kumho River Renaissance Project.
