그러면서 "국토부로부터 하천관리권을 환경부로 이양하는 것에 찬성한 이유는 이 나라 하천을 더욱 잘 보호하고 보존하겠다는 환경부의 서약을 믿고 찬성한 것"이라며"하지만 지금 환경부가 보이는 짓은 국민 배신의 행정"이라고 덧붙였다.

단체는"금호강 고모지구 하천정비사업 계획을 철회하고 국토 생태환경 보호와 보존이라는 환경부 본연의 의무를 충실히 해나갈 것"을 요구했다.
