이에 따라 2022년 1월부터 환경친화적 자동차 충전구역 및 전용주차구역에 내연기관 자동차를 주차한 자에 대하여 20만원 이하의 과태료가 부과되고 있지만 이를 제대로 인지하지 못해 과태료를 부과받는 운전자는 증가하고 있는 실정이다.
