【브레이크뉴스 경북】박은정 기자=경북농관원(지원장 김동환)은 지난해 대구·경북지역 농식품 원산지 부정유통 행위를 단속한 결과 421개 업소를 적발했다고 17일 밝혔다.

위반유형을 보면 값싼 외국산을 국내산으로 속여 판매한 업소가 227개소로 54%였으며, 원산지를 미표시한 업소는 194개소로 46%를 차지했다.

원산지 표시 위반으로 적발된 421개소에 대해 농수산물의 원산지 표시등에 관한 법률에 따라 형사입건 및 과태료 부과 등 엄중 처분했다.

원산지 표시를 위반하여 적발된 주요품목은 돼지고기(26.7%) , 배추김치(17.7), 쇠고기(14.7), 콩,두부류(8.5), 닭고기(8.5), 쌀,떡류(6.2) , 고춧가루(1.6) 등의 순으로 전체 위반품목의 83.9%를 차지했다.

국내산에 비해 가격차이가 크거나 소비자가 외국산과 국내산을 육안으로 식별하기 어려운 품목 위주로 원산지를 속여 판매하면서 부당 이득을 편취한 것으로 드러났다.

경북농관원은 지역특산품, 한약재, 축산물 등을 원산지 관리품목으로 선정하여 집중 점검하였으며, 농․축산물의 수입량과 유통상황 등을 사전에 모니터링 하여 위반 의심업체와 과거 위반업체 등을 중점 점검했다.

특히, 위반 개연성이 높은 돼지고기와 고춧가루 등은 소비자 명예감시원을 동원하여 저녁장보기 시간대에 시료를 구입하여 과학적인 원산지검정법(유전자분석, 이화학검정, 검정키트)을 활용하여 단속했다.

경북농관원 김동환 지원장은 “ 원산지 단속 공무원과 명예감시원 등 가용 인력을 총 동원하여 명절 전 특별단속, 휴가철 해수욕장 주변 점검, 취약시간대(공휴일, 야간 등) 감시 활동, 지역특산물 부정유통 방지, 통신판매업체 점검 등 단속을 강화할 계획”이라고 밝혔다.
