【브레이크뉴스 대구 】박은정 기자= 대구 서구(구청장 류한국)은 귀성객들과 주민들이 깨끗하고 쾌적한 환경에서 설 명절을 보낼 수 있도록 설맞이 대청소를 실시했다고 18일 밝혔다.

서구청은 설 명절을 맞아 지난 12일부터 27일까지를 설맞이 생활주변 대청소 주간으로 설정하여 서구 17개 동에서 청소 취약지를 대상으로 주민들과 함께 집중 환경정비를 실시하고 있다. 

이번 대청소는 서구의 관문인 서대구IC와 서대구 역사 주변 환경정비를 비롯하여 서대구산업단지 관리공단 일대 등을 중심으로 대대적인 환경정화 활동을 전개했다. 

또 주민들을 대상으로 더 깨끗한 서구 4대 실천사항(배출요일 및 시간준수, 종량제봉투 사용하기, 종량제봉투 정량배출, 토요일 저녁 배출금지) 및 올바른 분리배출 방법 등 홍보활동도 함께 전개했다.  

특히, 설 연휴기간에 발생하는 생활폐기물 민원을 해결하기 위해 오는 21일부터 24일까지 상황반 및 기동처리반을 설치 운영한다. 

설 당일을 제외하고는 쓰레기 수거가 정상 운영되며, 설 당일은 기동처리반을 운영하여 주민 불편을 최소화할 계획이다.
