18일, 달성군에 따르면  사회복지생활시설 44개소 1,467명, 지역아동센터 33개소 933명에 실생활에 필요한 백미·화장지·기저귀·라면·김 등 생필품, 가정위탁아동·독거노인 등 저소득 가정 2,555가구에는 온누리상품권 및 추석선물세트, 저소득 보훈가족 547명에게는 생필품세트를 지원한다.

각 읍·면에서도 거동이 불편한 어르신과 장애인 가정에 위문활동을 나서며, 위문가구에 긴급 위기상황이 발생하거나 도움이 필요한 경우 즉시 읍·면 맞춤형 복지팀과 연계한다.

경기불황과 물가상승 등으로 기부 심리가 위축되면서 나눔 문화가 줄어들 것으로 예상했지만 설 명절을 맞아 달성군 전역에 따뜻한 나눔이 이어지고있다.

관내 다양한 기업에서 성금 및 성품을 기부하였으며, 각 읍․면 지역사회보장협의체 및 기관・사회단체에서도 성금・품을 주변 이웃들에게 나눠주는 등 민관의 적극적인 사회공헌활동 동참과 군민들의 십시일반 나눔의 손길이 꾸준히 이어져 저소득층이 보다 따뜻한 명절을 보낼 수 있도록 훈훈한 명절분위기를 조성하고 있다. 

최재훈 달성군수는“이번 명절 위문으로 소외계층에 대한 지역사회의 관심을 유도하는 계기가 될 것"이라며" 모두가 힘든 시기이지만 주변의 어려운 이웃들이 소외되지 않고 따뜻한 명절을 보낼 수 있도록 많은 관심과 배려를 부탁드린다.”고 밝혔다.
