대구의료원은 설 연휴 기간 발생하는 응급상황 및 각종 사고에 적극 대처하기 위해 비상진료계획을 수립하고 의료 인력 및 필요 장비와 기구를 점검, 확충했다.
또 명절 기간 내원객들이 의료원을 이용함에 있어 불편을 최소화하기 위해 일 평균 150여 명의 근무 인력을 적재적소에 배치하고 신속 정확한 서비스가 가능토록 준비했다.
특히 효율적인 응급실 운영과 감염 예방을 위해 응급실 환자(중증, 경증, 감염)의 동선을 세분화하고 음압격리실 및 감염 격리실 각 1실을 설치해 감염병에 더욱 신속하고 안전하게 대응할 수 있도록 대비했다.
김승미 대구의료원장은 “지역민들이 건강하고 안전한 설 명절을 보내실 수 있도록 비상진료체계 운영에 만전을 기하겠다”고 밝혔다.
