【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=계명대학교 여성학연구소에서 ‘전환의 시대와 젠더: 기후위기, 에코페미니즘, 여성농민’이라는 주제로 2023년 봄학기 계명여성학세미나를 개최한다고 21일 밝혔다.
대학은 오는 3월 21일, 4월 18일, 5월 16일 총 3차례에 걸쳐 개최되며 3월과 4월은 넷째주 화요일, 5월은 셋째주 화요일 오후 3시에 계명대학교 성서캠퍼스 의양관 207호에서 세미나를 진행할 예정이라고 덧붙였다.
여성문제에 대한 폭넓은 논의와 연구가 진행되는 계명여성학세미나는 여성문제에 대한 폭넓은 논의와 인접 학문과의 적극적인 교류를 통해 새로운 여성학 담론을 연구하는 것을 목표로 한다.
가장 먼저 진행되는 제149회 세미나에는 김은희 소장(에코페미니즘연구센터 달과나무)이 ‘기후위기 시대의 돌봄민주주의: 대안적 정치체제와 탈성장 전환의 모색’이라는 주제로 발표에 나선다. 주요 내용은 젠더 관점에서 기후위기에 대한 대안을 탐색한다.
박혜영 교수(인하대 영어영문학과)가 발표자로 나서는 제150회 세미나는 ‘생태위기와 에코페미니즘의 ‘젠더’론: 젠더의 저항성 회복을 위한 모색’을 주제로 에코페미니즘의 젠더론에 담긴 연대와 협력의 정치성에 주목하고, 버틀러의 젠더 수행성과 비교함으로써 생태적 저항성을 되살리는 것이 생태위기 시대에 중요함을 강조하는 시간이 진행 될 예정이다.
제151회 세미나는 정숙정 초빙교수(충북대 교양교육본부)가 ‘여성×농민’의 교차성:여성농민의 불평등 경험과 정체성’을 주제로 발표에 나선다. 정 교수는 여성농민의 새로운 정체성을 보여줌으로써, 생태위기를 가속화하는 소비자본주의에 대한 저항의 가능성과 돌봄 공동체의 대안을 제시하고자 한다.
세미나를 주관한 안숙영 소장은 “2023년 봄학기 계명여성학세미나 개최의 의미는 세계가 기후파국을 막는데 실패하고 있는 지금, 성장 이데올로기를 너머 생산체제로부터의 탈주와 젠더정의가 맞물리는 대안적 상상으로 탈성장과 돌봄 중심 전환에 주목하고자 한다.”고 밝혔다.
