【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구보건대학교(총장 남성희)는 물리치료학과 김경돈 교수가 ‘제51회 보건의 날’ 기념식에서 대구광역시장 표창을 수상했다고  11일 밝혔다.

지난 7일 대구의료원에서 국민 보건의식을 향상시키고 보건의료 및 복지 분야의 종사자를 격려하기 위해 제51회 보건의날 기념식이 개최되었다.

이날 기념식에서 김경돈 교수는 대한물리치료사협회 대구광역시회 기획이사를 역임하며 공공 의료사업에 참여하는 등 시민 건강증진과 지역 보건의료 발전에 기여한 공로를 인정받아 대구광역시장 표창을 수상했다.

김경돈 교수는 “앞으로도 지역사회 공공의료 발전과 전문 직업인 물리치료사의 권익 향상을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

Daegu Health University (President Nam Sung-hee) announced on the 11th that Professor Kyung-don Kim of the Department of Physical Therapy was awarded the Daegu Metropolitan City Mayor’s Commendation at the ceremony commemorating the ‘51st Health Day’.

On the 7th, the 51st Health Day ceremony was held at the Daegu Medical Center to improve public health awareness and encourage health care and welfare workers.

At the ceremony, Professor Kim Kyung-don was awarded the Daegu Metropolitan City Mayor's Commendation in recognition of his contribution to public health promotion and the development of local health care, such as serving as a planning director of the Daegu Metropolitan City Association of the Korean Physical Therapist Association and participating in public medical projects.

Professor Kim Kyung-don said, “I will continue to do my best to develop public health in the community and improve the rights and interests of professional physical therapists.”
