【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구 달성군은 지난 11월 20일 한국공공자치연구원이 발표한 ‘2024년 한국지방자치경쟁력지수(KLCI)’ 분석 결과 전국 군 단위 자치경쟁력부문 종합 1위에 선정됐다.
28일 달성군에 따르면 한국공공자치연구원은 매년 전국 266개 지자체의 정부 공식 통계데이터를 바탕으로 경영자원, 경영활동, 경영성과 3개 부문별로 조사 및 분석하여 지방자치경쟁력을 평가하고 우수 지자체를 선정하고 있다.
달성군은 맞춤형 교육정책으로 인한 인구 유입 증대, 대구 미래 스마트기술 국가산업단지(제2국가산업단지) 등 대형 국책사업 유치, 다양한 산업형 일자리 확대 등 주거 환경의 질적 개선을 통해 경영자원, 경영활동, 경영성과 모든 부문에서 우수한 실적을 보여 전국 군 단위 부문 자치경쟁력 종합 1위를 차지했다
최재훈 달성군수는 “지난해 종합 3위에서 1위로 상승한 이번 성과를 통해 달성군이 갖춘 경쟁력과 미래 성장 가능성을 다시 한번 입증했다. 지역 발전을 위한 군민들의 적극적인 관심과 공직자들의 노력을 기반으로 앞으로도 교육, 문화, 복지, 경제 등 다양한 분야에서 경쟁력을 한층 더 높여 군민이 빛나는 명품 도시 달성을 만드는데 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
