【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 북구 노곡동과 조야동 일대에서 발생한 산불이 발생 이틀 만에 주불 진화가 완료됐다. 산불 영향 구역은 약 260ha로 집계됐다.

산림당국은 29일 오후 1시 브리핑을 통해 산불 발생 약 23시간 만에 주요 불길을 모두 잡았다고 밝혔다. 현재 인명 피해는 없는 것으로 확인됐다.

산불 진화에는 공공진화대, 산불재난특수진화대 등 1,515명의 인력과 고성능 산불진화차량 15대를 포함한 398대의 장비가 투입됐다.

열화상 드론을 이용해 화선을 관측하고, 수리온 헬기 2대를 야간에 투입해 총 18회에 걸쳐 3만6,000리터의 물을 살포했다. 민가 주변에는 산불지연제도 10회에 걸쳐 살포해 확산을 막았다.

주택 밀집 지역 보호를 위해 소방 661명, 경찰 582명이 각각 민가 보호, 급수지원, 교통통제 및 주민 대피 지원에 참여했다. 이를 통해 민가로의 확산을 막고 주민 안전을 확보했다.

주민 대피도 신속하게 진행됐다. 노곡동, 조야동, 서변동 일대 3,514세대, 약 6,500명에게 대피 안내가 내려졌으며, 7개 대피소에 661명이 수용됐다. 나머지 주민은 친인척 집 등으로 대피했다. 

대구시는 대피소에 응급구호세트와 담요를 긴급 지원하고, 의료 지원을 위해 보건소 간호사와 구급차를 배치했다.

적십자사와 희망브릿지 등 민간단체들도 텐트, 급식, 생수 등을 지원했다.

산림당국은 헬기 53대와 인력 1,551명을 투입해 잔불 진화 작업을 실시했다. 

진화 전략은 ▶망일봉 일대와 화세가 강한 지역에 헬기 집중 투입 ▶주택 밀집 지역 인근에 산불지연제 살포 ▶서변동 인근에 산림청 공중진화대 및 특수진화대 집중 배치 등이다.

산불 발생 원인에 대해서는 현재 조사 중이다. 이후 경찰에 수사를 의뢰해 통해 정확한 원인을 규명할 계획이다.

발화 지점은 노곡동 마을 끝에서 약 600m 떨어진 산 중턱으로, 농로와 산책로로 사용되던 지역이다. 자연 발화 가능성은 낮은 것으로 추정되며, 낙뢰 등 특이 요인도 발견되지 않았다.

대구시는 바람이 약화된 상황에서도 만일의 사태에 대비해 서변동 아파트지구 3,536세대 8,586명에 대한 대피 안내를 완료하고 추가 대피소 확보에도 나섰다.

산림당국은 잔불 진화와 함께 공무원, 군부대, 소방 등을 총동원해 24시간 감시 체제를 유지하고 있다.

The cause of the forest fire is currently under investigation. Afterwards, the exact cause will be identified through a request for investigation by the police.

The ignition point is about 600m from the end of Nogok-dong village on a mountainside, an area used as a farm road and walking trail. The possibility of spontaneous combustion is estimated to be low, and no unusual factors such as lightning have been found.

Even in a situation where the wind has weakened, Daegu City has completed evacuation guidance for 8,586 people in 3,536 households in the Seobyeon-dong apartment complex in preparation for an emergency, and has also secured additional shelters.

The forestry authorities are maintaining a 24-hour surveillance system by mobilizing civil servants, military units, and fire departments in addition to extinguishing the remaining fire.
