【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구시교육청이 대구 북구 노곡동 일대 함지산 산불 확산에 대응하기 위해 조야초등학교에 비상상황반을 설치하고 신속한 대응 체계를 유지하고 있다고 29일 밝혔다.

산불이 확산되면서 교육청은 오후 5시경 팔달초, 매천초, 동변중 3개 학교를 주민 대피시설로 지정했다.

이어 오후 8시경에는 연경초, 문성초, 동평초, 도남초, 북부초, 북대구초, 복현초 등 7개 학교를 추가로 지정해 총 10개 학교에서 대피소를 운영 중이다. 4월 29일 0시 기준, 대피소에는 총 661명이 수용됐다.

교육청은 산불 확산에 대응해 28일 오후 7시 10분 각급 학교로 긴급 공문을 발송했다. 공문에는 시정 조정, 임시 휴업(휴원)일 지정, 비상연락망 체계 가동 등의 학사 운영 지침이 포함됐다.

또한 같은 날 오후 7시경, 팔공산수련원에서 수련활동 중이던 봉무초 134명, 동평초 182명의 학생과 인솔교사를 대상으로 이송버스를 급파해 안전하게 귀가 조치했다. 29일 입소 예정이던 월암초와 서변초 학생들의 수련활동도 연기됐다.

휴업 조치는 서변초(병설유치원 포함), 성북초, 서변중 등 3개 학교와 동서변유치원, 청보리숲유치원 등 2개 사립 유치원에 적용됐다. 해당 학교들은 4월 29일 하루 휴업·휴원을 실시했다. 인근 학교들도 산불 상황을 예의 주시하며 비상연락망을 가동하고 있다.

한편, 산림 당국은 29일 오전 8시 기준으로 산불 진화율이 82%이며 진화작업에는 공공진화대와 산불재난특수진화대 등 1515명의 인력과 고성능 산불진화차량 15대를 포함한 총 398대의 장비가 투입됐다.

강은희 교육감은 "산불 상황에 철저히 대비하고, 학생들의 안전을 최우선으로 하여 필요한 조치를 선제적으로 취할 것"이라며 "산불 인근 지역 주민들의 피해 방지를 위해 학교시설을 적극 제공하겠다"고 말했다. 이어 학부모들에게도 "학생 안전을 위해 비상연락망을 유지하고 필요한 대피 조치에 적극 협조해 달라"고 당부했다.
