【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=경주시의회는 21일 경주 힐튼호텔에서 제337차 경북시군의회의장협의회(협의회장 이동협) 월례회를 열었다고 밝혔다.

이번 회의에는 경북 23개 시·군 의장이 참석했으며, ▲2025 APEC 정상회의 홍보영상 시청 ▲이동협 협의회장 개회사 및 환영사 ▲주낙영 경주시장 축사 ▲감사패·기념품 전달 ▲사회복지시설 성금 전달 ▲본회의 및 기념촬영 순으로 진행됐다.

본회의에서는 협의회 활동사항 보고와 함께 각 지역 축제 안내, 주요 현안 공유, 의정활동 논의가 이어졌다. 또한 10월 말 열리는 2025 APEC 정상회의 준비상황에 대해 김상철 경북도 APEC 준비지원단장의 설명을 듣고, 성공적 개최 방안에 대해 의견을 나눴다.

이동협 협의회장은 “약 두 달 앞으로 다가온 APEC 정상회의의 성공을 위해 지방의회의 연대와 협력이 무엇보다 중요하다”며 “경북 발전과 도민 행복을 위해 지혜를 모아달라”고 당부했다.

한편, 경북시군의회의장협의회는 도내 지방의회 발전과 지방자치 활성화를 위해 매달 시·군을 순회하며 회의를 이어가고 있다.

Gyeongbuk City and County Council Speakers' Association Holds 337th Monthly Meeting in Gyeongju

The Gyeongju City Council announced that it held its 337th monthly meeting of the Gyeongbuk City and County Council Speakers' Association (Chairman Lee Dong-hyeop) at the Gyeongju Hilton Hotel on the 21st.

Council Chairman Lee Dong-hyeop stated, "For the success of the APEC Summit, which is approaching in about two months, solidarity and cooperation among local councils are paramount. Please pool your wisdom for the development of Gyeongbuk and the well-being of its citizens."

Meanwhile, the Gyeongbuk City and County Council Speakers' Council continues to hold monthly meetings, traveling to cities and counties to promote the development of local councils and revitalize local autonomy.
