특히 권한대행 체제 기간에는 ▲유가 상승에 따른 민생 안정 대책 마련 ▲생활밀착형 행정서비스 강화 ▲재난 대응 및 시민 안전 체계 확립 ▲공직기강 확립과 선거 중립 준수 ▲주요 현안사업의 차질 없는 추진 등에 행정 역량을 집중할 계획이다.
정 권한대행은 “권한대행 체제에서 가장 중요한 것은 시정의 연속성을 유지하는 것”이라며 “민생경제와 안전, 지역 현안은 물론 시민 일상과 직결된 행정까지 세심히 챙겨 불편이 없도록 하겠다”고 밝혔다.
이어 “선거 기간일수록 공직자의 정치적 중립성과 공정성이 더욱 중요하다”며 “모든 공직자가 법과 원칙에 따라 본연의 업무에 충실해 달라”고 당부했다.
구미시는 권한대행 체제에서도 24시간 행정 대응체계를 유지하며 시정 운영의 안정성을 확보하고, 주요 현안사업도 차질 없이 추진해 나갈 계획이다.
