구미시는 14일 시청 대회의실에서 정성현 시장 권한대행 주재로 실·국·소장 및 부서장 등 50여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘2027년 국가투자예산 확보 추진상황 보고회’를 개최했다.

이날 회의에서는 사업별 타당성과 정책 부합성, 사전 행정절차 이행 여부를 집중 점검하고, 중앙부처 동향을 분석해 향후 예산 편성 과정에서의 변수 대응 전략을 재정비했다.

정성현 권한대행은 “국비 확보는 구미의 미래 산업 기반을 좌우하는 핵심 과제”라며 “정부 예산 편성 흐름을 면밀히 분석하고 중앙부처와의 협력 네트워크를 총동원해 주요 사업이 반드시 반영되도록 행정력을 집중해야 한다”고 강조했다.
구미시는 향후 정부예산안 확정 시점까지 단계별 대응 전략을 고도화하고, 국회 및 중앙부처를 대상으로 한 대외 협력 활동을 확대해 핵심 사업 반영에 총력을 기울일 방침이다.

Acting Mayor Jeong Seong-hyeon emphasized, “Securing state funding is a critical task that determines the foundation of Gumi’s future industries.” He added, “We must concentrate our administrative efforts on ensuring that major projects are reflected by closely analyzing the flow of government budget formulation and mobilizing our full cooperation network with central ministries.”
Gumi City plans to refine its phased response strategies until the finalization of the government budget proposal and expand external cooperation activities targeting the National Assembly and central ministries to devote all efforts to securing the inclusion of key projects.
