코로나19 재확산의 영향으로 매출 급감에도 불구하고 매달 부담하는 임차료로 이중고를 겪고 있는 소상공인의 자금수요에 대응하자는 취지다.
지원대상은 타인의 건물을 임차해 사업을 영위하고 있는 관내 소상공인이며, 융자 규모는 500억원으로 기업당 1억원 한도 내에서 1년간 특별우대금리를 적용한 1.7%~2.2%의 이자를 지원한다.
한국부동산원의 조사결과, 대구지역의 소규모 상가임대료는 코로나19가 확산된 2020년에도 전년과 비교해 모든 분기에서 상승했다. 또, 공실률도 2020년 1분기 5.2%에서 4분기에는 7.1%까지 상승한 것으로 나타났다.
임차료 지원 특별경영안정자금을 지원받고자 하는 소상공인은 가까운 대구신용보증재단 6개(죽전,유통단지,범어동,월배,동,중앙 등 지점) 지점에 신청하면 된다.
홍의락 대구시 경제부시장은 “이번 소상공인 임차료 지원이 코로나19 장기화로 생계에 위협을 받고 있는 지역 소상공인의 자금난이 조금이나마 해소되길 기대한다”며 “대구시는 지속적으로 사각지대를 발굴해 어려운 시기를 겪고 있는 지역 소상공인에 든든한 버팀목 역할을 해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
