【브레이크뉴스 울진】이우근 기자=한국수력원자력(주) 한울원자력본부(본부장 박범수, 이하 한울본부)는 설 명절을 맞아 울진 지역 소상공인을 돕고 취약계층을 지원하기 위한 행사를 실시했다.

한울본부는 16일 울진 바지게시장에서 쌀, 건어물, 과일 등 1천만 원 상당의 지역 농수산물 꾸러미를구매해 울진 지역 15개 복지시설에 전달했다고 밝혔다.

이날 전달식에 참석한 전병호 울진군노인요양원 원장은 “따뜻한 정이 무엇인지 몸소 보여주는 한울본부 덕에 우리 이웃들이 즐거운 명절을 보낼 수 있겠다”라며 감사의 말을 전했다.

한편 한울본부는 지난 12일 나곡사택 복지관에서 지역 특산품·농수산물 판매장터를 개설해 일정금액 이상 구매시 장바구니를 지원하는 이벤트를 진행했으며 오는 23일까지 우체국 쇼핑몰에서는 지역 특산물 할인쿠폰을 제공하고 있다.

박범수 본부장은 “설 명절을 맞아 울진군민 모두가 편안하고 행복한 명절을 보내길 바란다”라며, “한울본부는 앞으로도 지역 소상공인과 취약계층 지원 등 공기업으로서 사회적 책임과 역할을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
