대구는 8강과 4강에서 서울과 광주를 만나 2:0으로 꺾으며 압도적인 전력을 과시하였으며 결승에서 경기도를 세트스코어 2:0으로 제압하며 우승의 쾌거를 이뤘다.
또 달성군청 소속 한성봉 선수는 개인단식, 개인복식에서 각각 준우승을 차지했다.
