【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=경북교육청(교육감 임종식)은 ‘새 학기 대비 학교안전 종합 점검’을 실시한다고 22일 밝혔다.

경북교육청은 20일부터 24일까지 도내 전 학교를 대상으로 새학기를 대비한 학교 안전 관련 중점 점검 3개 분야 12개 부문 종합점검을 실시한다고 전했다.

이에 따라 학생안전 분야의 3개 부문 통학안전관리, 고농도 미세먼지 대응/공기정화장치 관리, 3D프린팅 실습환경 관리에 대한 점검과 산업안전 분야의 5개 부문 경비업무, 통학보조, 시설관리, 복도 및 화장실 청소, 급식실에 대한 점검, 시설안전 분야의 4개 부문 학교 건축물 및 시설물 안전관리 , 학교 내 공사장 안전관리, 학교 외 공사장 안전관리, 기숙사 화재예방 및 대응관리에 대한 점검이 진행될 방침이다.

각급 학교는 도교육청에서 제공한 주요 점검 자료 및 체크리스트를 활용해 자체 계획 수립 후 각 분야 점검반 구성 및 1차 점검을 실시하고 교육청, 교육지원청과 현장 점검도 병행한다. 

이를 통해 확인된 단순 조치사항은 학교 자체적으로 즉시 조치하고, 대규모 예산 투입 및 위험 해소에 장기간이 소요되는 지적 건과 안전사고 피해 가능성 등 사고 위험도가 높은 학교에 대해서는 교육청, 교육지원청 및 학교에서 합동 점검 후 개선을 추진할 계획이다.

김태형 부교육감은 “새 학기 개학을 앞두고 학생들을 위한 안전한 교육환경 조성과 수준 높은 교육여건 조성을 위해 최선의 노력을 다하겠다.”고 말했다.
