【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=계명대(총장 신일희)가 고용노동부의 ‘재학생 맞춤형 고용서비스’사업에 선정되었다고 24일 밝혔다.

‘재학생 맞춤형 고용서비스’는 최근 청년고용의 양적 개선에도 불구하고 취업지연 청년 및 이에 따른 장기구직자·니트 청년의 증가 우려에 따라 기존 기업 장려금 중심의 청년고용정책을 서비스 중심으로 혁신하고자 국정과제로 추진된 사업이다.

기존 대학 졸업반 학생을 중심으로 제공되던 각종 청년고용서비스를 심층 상담 기반의 개인별 취업준비 시기·정도에 따라 대학 저학년부터 고학년까지 체계적‧맞춤형으로 제공하는 이번 사업은 12개 대학이 선정되어 수행하게 된다.

계명대는 이번 사업 선정으로 7억여 원의 국고지원금을 확보하고 기존 대학일자리플러스센터 운영을 기반으로 한 단계별 맞춤형 서비스를 제공할 계획이다.

저학년을 대상으로 한 빌드업 프로젝트에서는 개인별 직업 포트폴리오 설계 및 자기주도형 진로역량 강화 프로그램을 지원하고 고학년을 대상으로 한 점프업 프로젝트는 개인별 취업활동계획 수립을 통해 맞춤형 훈련 및 교육 지원으로 취업성공률을 높이게 된다. 

또한 학생들의 준비상태에 따른 계명대학교만의 K-GSM(Grow, Setup, Master) 분류를 통하여 학생들의 경력 개발을 적극적으로 개입하는 상담 체계를 구축할 예정이다.

신일희 계명대학교 총장은 “지난 대학일자리센터 사업에 이어 대학일자리플러스센터 사업까지 7년 연속 우수 대학으로 선정되는 등 진로·취업 분야에 최상의 서비스를 지원해 왔다”며고 밝히며 “이번 재학생 맞춤형 고용서비스 사업을 통해 청년들의 성공적인 사회 진출을 위한 가교 역할을 더욱 충실히 수행해 나가겠다.”고 밝혔다.
