【브레이크뉴스 영양】이성현 기자=영양군다문화가족지원센터는 12일, 13일 양일간 센터교육장에서 초등 및 중학교 입학 예정인 학부모 22가정을 대상으로 ‘두근두근 첫등교, 엄마아빠도 1학년’이라는 프로그램으로 부모 교육을 시행한다고 밝혔다.

이날 청송초등학교 박은주 교사와 영양여자중학교 김재희 교무부장 선생님을 모시고 학교에 대한 정보가 부족한 학부모에게 학부모 만남의 자리를 제공해자녀 입학에 대한 불안감을 해소하고 자녀의 안정적인 학교생활을 지원할 수 있도록 도움을 주기 위해 실시했다.

행사에 앞서 영양중앙교회(목사 김신영)에서 초등학교 입학생에게100만 원 상당의 책가방을, 다문화가정연합회에서 중학교 입학생에게 30만 원 상당의 실내화를 후원해 전달하는 전달식도 가졌다.

부모교육에서는 초등·중학교 교육과정을 설명하고 입학에 관한 정보를 제공하며 학교생활에 필요한 준비물 챙기기 등에 관해 교육했다.

오도창 영양군수는 “다문화가정 학부모들이 학부모 역할과 초등․중학교구성및 교육과정에 대해 배우고 자녀들이 낯선 학교생활 적응을 잘할 수 있도록 끊임없는 격려와 지지를 부탁드린다.”라고 밝혔다.
