대한민국 자치발전 대상은 한국자치발전연구원이 주관하여 매년 자치분권과 균형발전에 크게 기여한 지자체와 인물을 선정하는 권위 있는 상으로, 올해는 민선자치 30주년을 맞아 더욱 의미가 크다.
