이번 공모 선정으로 군위군은 지난 2013년 건립된 농산물 산지유통센터(군위읍 도군로 2695)의 시설 개보수와 신규 장비 설치를 위한 사업비 30억6천만원(국비 15억3천만원, 지방비 15억3천만원)을 확보하게 됐다.

군은 이번 사업을 통해 오이와 토마토 등 주요 농산물에 적용할 스마트 기계선별 시스템을 도입하고, GAP(우수농산물관리) 인증을 위한 시설 개선 작업을 추진할 계획이다.

스마트 기계선별 시스템은 자동화된 선별 공정과 데이터 기반 품질 관리 기능을 통해 농산물의 규격화와 상품화를 한층 높이는 기술로, 생산성과 유통 효율을 동시에 향상시킬 것으로 기대된다. 또한 GAP 인증시설 리모델링을 통해 농산물의 위생·안전관리 체계를 강화하고 소비자 신뢰도를 제고할 방침이다.

김진열 군위군수는 “이번 사업 선정은 지역 농산물 유통구조를 개선하고, 농업인의 소득 증대와 경쟁력 강화를 위한 중요한 전환점이 될 것”이라며 “스마트 선별시스템 도입과 GAP 인증 기반 구축을 통해 군위 농산물의 품질과 브랜드 가치를 높이겠다”고 밝혔다.

한편 농림축산식품부가 추진하는 ‘농산물 산지유통센터(APC) 지원사업’은 산지의 농산물 규격화·상품화 기능 강화를 위해 복합유통시설을 개선하는 사업으로, 2026년도에는 군위군을 포함한 전국 24개 지자체 및 사업기관이 선정됐다.

군위군은 이번 사업을 계기로 지역 농산물의 유통 혁신과 품질 경쟁력을 강화해, 군위 농산물이 소비자에게 더욱 신뢰받는 브랜드로 자리 잡을 수 있도록 지속적인 지원을 이어갈 계획이다.

Furthermore, the remodeling of GAP-certified facilities will strengthen the hygiene and safety management system for agricultural products and enhance consumer trust.

Twenty-four local governments and project organizations nationwide, including Gunwi County, have been selected for the 2026 program.
