이번 점검에는 군위군을 비롯해 군위경찰서, 교육청, 청소년상담복지센터 등이 참여해 합동 점검반을 구성했다. 점검반은 청소년들이 자주 이용하는 편의점, 노래연습장, 일반음식점 등 밀집 지역 업소를 찾아 주류·담배 판매 행위, 청소년 출입·고용 제한 준수 여부 등을 집중 점검했다.

군은 특히 수능 직후 증가하는 심야시간대 청소년 활동을 고려해 야간 순찰을 강화하고, 음주·흡연 등 유해환경 노출을 사전에 차단하는 데 주력했다. 아울러 업소 종사자를 대상으로 청소년보호법 준수사항을 안내하는 등 예방 중심의 홍보 활동도 병행했다.

김진열 군위군수는 “청소년들이 안심하고 생활할 수 있는 환경을 만들기 위해 지역사회와 협력해 현장 점검을 지속하겠다”고 밝혔다.
