우리복지시민연합은 △광역단체 생활임금의 조속 인상 △31개 시·군·구의 조례 제정 및 제도 시행 △교육청 차원의 생활임금 도입과 임금체계 개선 등을 강력히 요구했다.
아울러 “오는 6월 제9회 전국동시지방선거에서 생활임금 문제가 반드시 주요 공약으로 다뤄질 수 있도록 노동계와 함께 적극적으로 목소리를 낼 계획”이라며 “대구·경북이 최소한의 인간다운 삶이 보장되는 지역으로 변화할 때까지 끝까지 감시하고 투쟁하겠다”고 입장을 밝혔다.
