【브레이크뉴스 】이성현 기자=대구·경북행정통합공론화위원회(이하 공론화위원회)가 27일 경북도청 브리핑룸에서 ‘공론화위원회 공론일정 연장 및 공론홍보 계획’과 ‘제3차 온라인 시도민 열린토론회(이하 열린토론회)’에 대한 언론브리핑을 진행했다.

브리핑에 나선 김태일 공동위원장은 “지난 4개월 간 대구경북행정통합에 대한 신뢰구축과 함께 앞서 두 차례 열린 토론회를 통해 시도민의 생각과 우려를 수렴했다. 얻어진 내용들을 연구단이 통합 모델 만드는 작업에 반영해서 구축 해나가는 중이며 오는 30일 있을 3차 토론회와 더불어 다양한 형태의 토론회를 만들 것”이라고 진행 상황을 설명했다.

그러나 김 위원장은 “지난 4개월 활동에도 불구하고 지역에서 공론분위기가 만들어지지 않고 있는 것이 분명하다”면서 “코로나로 인해 대면 토론 모임이 불가능한 상황이어서 형태의 의견 개진 소통을 하는 것이 어려웠다. 2개월 더 시간을 가지고 공론을 연장하기로 결정했다”는 입장을 발표했다.

이어 하혜수 공동위원장은 오는 30일 진행되는 대구경북행정통합 관련 ‘제3차 온라인 시·도민 열린 토론회’ 개최에 대해 설명했다.

하 공동위원장은 “오는 30일 열릴 토론회는 3부로 나누어 진행되며 1부 알아보기에서는 최철영 연구단장의 ‘통합 대구경북 발전전략(안)’과 최재원 연구팀장의 ‘통합 대구경북 공공서비스 제공 방향(안)’ 주제발표와 참가자의 질의응답이 이루어질 예정”이라고 전했다.

이어 “2부 나눠보기에서는 시도민 지정참가자 온라인 토의, 김영철 계명대 교수의 진행으로 참가자와 함께하는 전문가 토의Ⅰ, 김효신 경북대 교수가 진행을 맡아 시도민의 의견을 나누는 토의Ⅱ, 설문조사가 이어진다”고 덧붙였다.

하 공동위원장은 “시도민들이 우선적인 상황으로 거론했던 12가지의 우려에 대해 충분한 토론을 거치겠다”면서 “지난 1차·2차 열린 토론회 등 숙의공론화 과정을 거치며 시도민들의 관심도 바뀌고 있는 것으로 나타나 제3차 토론회에서도 시도민들의 관심도가 어떻게 나타날지 기대된다”고 전했다.
