【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구보건대학교(총장 남성희) 바이오헬스케어기술창업거점센터는 지난 27일 호텔 라온제나 르미에르홀에서 ‘Deep Tech Day 기술이전 연계·딥테크 창업기획지원 포럼’을 개최했다.

이번 포럼은 지역혁신중심 대학지원체계(RISE) 사업의 일환으로 추진됐으며, 바이오헬스케어 분야 딥테크 기술의 기술이전과 사업화를 연계하고 예비·초기 창업자의 기술사업화 역량 강화를 목표로 마련됐다. 행사에는 김지인 대구보건대학교 대외부총장을 비롯해 교직원과 RISE 사업 수혜 기업 관계자 등 60여 명이 참석했다.

포럼에서는 딥테크 및 의료·바이오 분야 기술사업화 최신 동향을 주제로 한 전문가 특강과 함께, 변리사 관점에서 기술이전과 특허 전략을 다룬 실무 중심 교육이 진행됐다. 또한 대학이 보유한 기술의 사업화 가능성을 공유하는 기술이전 사례 발표를 통해 참가자들의 이해를 도왔다.

이와 함께 딥테크 기반 창업 아이템 발굴과 기술이전 연계 가능성을 논의하고, 투자자·기술이전 전문가·창업기업 간 네트워킹 프로그램을 운영해 향후 협력 기반을 강화했다.

장준영 바이오헬스케어기술창업거점센터장(안경광학과 교수)은 “이번 포럼은 예비·초기 창업자들이 기술사업화 구조를 체계적으로 이해하고 실제 사업 기획 역량을 높일 수 있도록 구성했다”며 “앞으로도 기술이전–창업–투자를 잇는 산·학·연·투자 협력 네트워크를 확대해 지역 바이오헬스케어 창업 생태계를 더욱 활성화하겠다”고 말했다.

Daegu Health College Holds 'Deep Tech Day Forum' to Strengthen Biohealth Deep Tech Startup and Technology Transfer Linkages

Daegu Health College (President Nam Sung-hee)'s Biohealthcare Technology Startup Center held the "Deep Tech Day Technology Transfer Linkage and Deep Tech Startup Planning Support Forum" at the Lumiere Hall of Hotel Laonzena on the 27th.

This forum, part of the Regional Innovation-Oriented University Support System (RISE) project, aimed to link technology transfer and commercialization of deep tech technologies in the biohealthcare sector and strengthen the technology commercialization capabilities of prospective and early-stage entrepreneurs. Approximately 60 people attended the event, including Kim Ji-in, Vice President for External Affairs at Daegu Health College, faculty, and representatives from companies benefiting from the RISE project.

The forum featured expert lectures on the latest trends in deep tech and medical/biotechnology commercialization, as well as practical training on technology transfer and patent strategies from a patent attorney's perspective. Furthermore, presentations on technology transfer cases, highlighting the commercialization potential of the university's technologies, enhanced participants' understanding.

Furthermore, the forum discussed the potential for deep-tech-based startups and technology transfer, and strengthened the foundation for future collaboration by operating a networking program among investors, technology transfer experts, and startups.

Jang Jun-young, Director of the Bio-Healthcare Technology Startup Center (Professor of Ophthalmic Optics), stated, "This forum was designed to help prospective and early-stage entrepreneurs systematically understand the technology commercialization structure and enhance their actual business planning capabilities." He added, "We will continue to expand the industry-academia-research-investment collaboration network that connects technology transfer, startups, and investment, further revitalizing the regional bio-healthcare startup ecosystem."
