【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구보건대학교(총장 남성희)는 지난 28일 오후 경북대학교 사회과학대학 회의실에서 경북대학교와 사회복지 분야 전문 인재 양성을 위한 ‘연계교육과정 운영 협약’을 체결했다.

이번 협약은 대구시 RISE(지역혁신중심 대학지원체계) 사업의 하나인 ‘대구형 파워풀 공유 캠퍼스 운영’ 과제의 일환으로 추진됐다. 양 대학은 교육체계 연계를 통해 전문대학의 현장 실무 역량과 국립대학의 심화 학술 역량을 결합한 지속 가능한 교육 모델을 구축한다는 방침이다.

협약식에는 대구보건대학교 김영근 경영부총장과 이전형 교무처장, 임성범 사회복지학과 학과장이 참석했으며, 경북대학교에서는 황길태 기획처장, 신규철 교무부처장, 성희자 사회과학대학장, 신창환 사회복지학부장 등 양 대학 관계자 10명이 함께했다.

이번 협약의 핵심은 대구보건대학교 사회복지학과(2년제) 졸업생이 경북대학교 사회복지학부 3학년으로 편입할 수 있는 연계교육과정 제도를 공식화한 것이다. 양 대학은 2027학년도부터 경북대학교 3학년 입학정원의 3% 이내, 사회복지학부 모집단위별 입학정원의 10% 이내에서 연계교육과정 이수자를 선발할 계획이다.

지원 자격은 대구보건대학교 재학 중 양 대학이 공동으로 지정한 연계교과목 18학점 이상 이수와 학업성적 누계 백분율 85점 이상을 충족한 학생에게 부여된다. 자격 요건을 갖춘 학생은 우선 선발을 원칙으로 하되, 학과 운영에 따라 공인영어성적이나 면접 등을 반영해 선발의 내실을 높일 예정이다.

양 대학은 편입 제도 운영에 그치지 않고 교육의 질적 성장을 도모하기 위해 ‘연계교육과정 운영협의회’를 구성했다. 협의회는 연계교과목 운영과 실무형 연구인재 프로그램 기획 등 세부 사항을 공동 논의하며 지속 가능한 협력 체계를 구축해 나갈 계획이다.

김영근 대구보건대학교 경영부총장은 “경북대학교 사회복지학부의 깊은 학문적 전통과 대구보건대학교 사회복지학과의 33년 현장 노하우가 결합해 의미 있는 시너지를 낼 것”이라며 “이번 협약이 양 대학의 발전은 물론 지역 사회복지 서비스의 질적 향상과 저변 확대에 크게 기여할 것으로 기대한다”고 밝혔다.

The core of this agreement is the formalization of a joint curriculum system that will allow graduates of Daegu Health College's two-year Department of Social Welfare to transfer to Kyungpook National University's Department of Social Welfare as third-year students. Beginning in the 2027 academic year, both universities plan to select students who complete the joint curriculum from within 3% of Kyungpook National University's third-year admissions quota and within 10% of each department's admissions quota for the Department of Social Welfare.

Eligible applicants must be enrolled at Daegu Health College, have completed at least 18 credits in joint courses jointly designated by both universities, and have a cumulative academic grade point average of 85 or higher. While students who meet the requirements will be given priority for selection, departments will consider factors such as official English proficiency scores and interviews to enhance the quality of the selection process.

Both universities have established a "Joint Curriculum Management Council" to go beyond the transfer program and promote qualitative educational growth. The council plans to jointly discuss details such as the operation of linked courses and the planning of practical research talent programs, thereby establishing a sustainable cooperative system.
