‘골목형 상점가’는 2,000㎡ 이내 구역에 소상공인이 운영하는 점포 15개 이상이 밀집한 지역을 지정해 전통시장에 준하는 지원을 제공하는 제도다. 업종 제한 없이 요건을 충족하면 신청이 가능해 일반 상점가 소상공인들의 체감 효과가 클 것으로 기대된다.

지정 시 가장 큰 혜택은 온누리상품권 가맹점 등록이다. 소비자는 디지털 온누리상품권 이용 시 최대 7% 할인과 함께 최대 40%(골목형 상점가 30%) 수준의 소득공제를 받을 수 있어, 상점가 방문 유도와 매출 증대 효과가 동시에 기대된다.
